Preamble
In the "East Sussex Record Office", under the reference numbers, "SPA/1" and "SPA/2", there are WW2 printed record cards used for reporting and recording any crashed aircraft, flying bombs, and air raid incidents; – these cards give such details as the date and time of the incident, its location and the map reference.
Where the information applied to an aircraft, it had to be stated whether the machine was British, allied or enemy. The type of aircraft and its condition plus the number of people killed, seriously injured, slightly injured and unhurt plus a description of the incident.
All the following are transcriptions of the various report cards – in this case ′plane crashes & forced landings.
