The names of the four men, who died in World War II and appear on one of the two small, marble, memorial tablets in Hooe Church, are listed below.
I have given some idea of each of the mens family history in order to show their connection to the village of Hooe.
The information, on each of the web pages, as to which branch of the service each man served in, the theatre of war, and, if and where possible, the actual action in which they were killed, is as much as I was able to find without going too deeply into service records, etc - I hope it's enough.
