This "document" comprises five letters, all dated 27th April, 1940, obviously intended for the attention of the Council, and all written by my grandfather, "John James Newport", as Parish Clerk.
These all concern accounts – Whether or not they had anything to do with the war effort and was a requirement of local and parish councils, I don't know. Further investigation would be a good idea but, for now, I'm just adding the correspondence! HERE
