[Steven Newport The following are the detils of the siblings of Cuthbert Victor Newport, and this is, at the time of writing, a work in progress. It is my intention that these will form the basis of individual Biographies in their own right.]

Ethel Cecily Pilbeam, the daughter of Ethel Matilda Newport .

This needs to be moved as it does not belong here.

John William Newport was in touch with Cecily but Maureen Newport only met her once when she was courting. They visited Cecily and her mum, Ethel, in Deans Drive, Bexhill.

Cecily had MS and lived in Deans Close with her mum, and her family owned a vegetable shop in Windmill Drive.

The photograph below was taken at Cecily's 100th birthday party in Ethel's nursing home. The lady with the grey hair behind the cake is Babs (??). My Mum and Dad (John and Maureen newport) went to Babs and John's 60th anniversary a few years ago. Pat (the lady in Red) is her grandchild.

Cecily founded the WI in Hooe - now called the Ninfield and Hooe Open Group.

Phillis Bradfield (Née Newport?)

This needs to be moved as it does not belong here. This person, was Cecily's sister.

John Newport was in touch with Phillis for a long time. He took my mum to visit her mum, Ethel, in Deans Drive, around the corner from where my Mum and Dad (John and Maureen Newport) lived in Deans Close.
